Because Diiva is a combination of software and services, the potential exists for us to record certain information about you. We feel that it is important for you to know exactly when the Diiva software contacts our servers, and what information it sends when it does so.

Diiva contacts us on only two distinct occasions:

Registration Functions

When you register Diiva, request a registration code, or verify a registration code, the Diiva software contacts our server a single time to process your request. Only the information that you are explicitly asked is sent to us. After the request has been processed, no additional connections are made. When registering, your personal information and credit card data is encrypted prior to being sent over the Internet.

Preview Requests

When Diiva requests previews, your unique authorization code is transmitted to us, in combination with the filenames and sizes of the images for which you are requesting previews. We use the authorization code only to prevent unauthorized access to the Diiva services; no logs are kept regarding which previews are requested.

If you don't want previews to be requested for certain groups or at certain times, you can uncheck the Request Previews option in the Network menu. This will cause the Diiva software to refrain from making any preview requests to our servers.
